Small modifications...

I'm having a problem with making small changes to Afterstep. All I want
to do (at first) is add sound support and specify certain sounds for
myself. However, if I make these small changes and add them into an
autoexec, they nullify everything else that I didn't want to change.
I probably haven't worded that very well...
Essentially, what I want to do is make one small change without reducing
my X session to a grey screen, a cursor, and nothing else. Is this
possible? Or, do I have to setup everything even though I only want to
change/personalize one small thing?!
BTW, I'd kill for a version of ASCP that will work with RH5.0,
Tcl/Tk8.0, etc!!!
Regards,
David Taylor.
ps. As soon as KDE is more accepted/supported ... I'm outa here!
