Sorry folks, in my last mail I forgot to add the error message AfterStep gives
me:

In a failsave session:

AMSUN10 $ afterstep
Creating /u/am3a010/GNUstep/Library/AfterStep/non-configurable/tmp/startmenu ... done

couldn't find Titlebar button as-switchwindow-a.xpm
couldn't find Titlebar button as-kill.xpm
couldn't find Titlebar button as-menu-a.xpm
couldn't find Titlebar button as-shade-a.xpm
couldn't find Titlebar button as-iconize.xpm
AfterStep: No such module /usr/local/bin Animate
AfterStep: No such module /usr/local/bin Wharf
AfterStep: Old 10x10 button styles should not be used

Additionally I have to remove the ~/GNUstep/.../tmp/startmenu file manually
before every start.
