Starting with (I think) v1.4.5, AS stores settings in
~/GnuSTEP/Library/AfterStep/ with system-wide defaults in
/usr/share/AfterStep/

There's a whole bunch o' files in there you need to play with. Read them
all for an idea of what they do, then don't be afraid to experiment.
