start menu

I got afterstep 1.4.5.55 compiled fine, thanks to the help of this list.

Now I have another question...

In 1.4 you can get rid of that silly ~/GNUstep/Library/AfterStep/start
directory and replace it with a single file called
~/GNUstep/Library/AfterStep/startmenu

Is there a way to do this with the version I am now running? I can't
stand that ./start directory... I like to make my menus look how I want
them to and now how the file system decides to sort them (why would anyone
have "quit" before "xterm"??)

If there's not a way to do this, I'll downgrade to version 1.4... but any
help with the current version would be much appreciated...

Thanks...

jay
