Actually, the suggested change _is_ in the new FAQ.  Alas, I gather that
Ed Orcutt has been busy or away, because the new FAQ has not become
available (i.e. not moved from /incoming to /pub).  I also attempted to
contact the Web site team, but none of them has been able to respond to me
to replace the older version with the newer.   I haven't a web site
anywhere, or I'd put the new FAQ up there.

If anyone whats the new FAQ, he/she can mail me & I'll happily provide it.
