focus dies

Hello!
I just subscribed to the list and therefore I do not
know yet if you are discussing it already so take
it easy please.
I experience the problem described in previous
mailings as "focus dies". It happens after a while
of working with multiple windows. I do not know
if many xterms would make such an effect - never
happened so far. Typically I would have a few xterms
and Netscape open. Sometimes Framemaker, tkman etc.
Suddenly the focus stays in one of the windows and
nothing makes it move to another window. If I close
the window that has the focus, I am left with
no focused object on the desktop at all.
I read posts on this problem from the mailing list
archives. The problem was described but no solution
was proposed as far as I can tell.
The problem is persistent on two platforms. One is
Sun Solaris running AfterStep 1.0 and another is
Linux running AfterStep 1.4.0.
Is anybody working on it currently?
Cheers,
Albert Dorofeev
