about feel

I want to get the pager and winlist to be behind my open
windows, so I changed the feel file to say
StaysOnBack , but they still stay on top. I changed all the
feel files, even the ones I am not using and it still wont
work.

Also, when I start up now, 3 xterms open and I only want
one. The 2 which I dont want have a black background and
black foreground. Here is my .xinitrc file:
xterm &
afterstep

That is all. I cant find any other place where I ask to
launch all those windows.

Aslo, how do I find what the system colors, for the xterm
and such?
