Dave,

just saw your message about AfterStep core dumps in the mailing list 
archives. I've been having the exact same problem - I leave afterstep 
running at work over the weekend, come in on a Monday morning and it 
invariably SEGVs when I switch desktops with the pager.

Did you get anywhere with this?
