seems like the only statement that got through from my first mail was the
one about extensions.
back to something more practical: gtk1 and gtk2 support. (i do not
know how other distros other than debian name gtk-theme-switch versions
for gtk1 and gtk2) by using gtk-theme-switch & gtk-theme-switch2
please add this to the afterstep theme engine - i checked it (under 1.8.1=
1),
it works, i know it's not perfect, i am no programer - please feel free t=
o
change whatever you wanna change.
i did not know what would be the appropriate way to do it...
so i did what i did - hope this time it's worth a reaction :))))))
#!/bin/bash

rm -rf ~/.themes/afterstep_gtk/
cp -r ~/GNUstep/Library/AfterStep/desktop/themes/gtk_theme/ \

if [ -d ~/.themes/afterstep_gtk/gtk-2.0 ] ; then

here's the same for afterstep 2.0 - could not test that - but since i onl=
y
replaced the path to as config dir it should work.
#!/bin/bash

gtk-theme-switch ~/.themes/afterstep_gtk/

if [ -d ~/.themes/afterstep_gtk/gtk-2.0 ] ; then
gtk-theme-switch2 ~/.themes/afterstep_gtk/
