This is where it all goes terribly, terribly wrong - if the geometry
parameters are passed, it accepts the size okay but the actual positioning
doesn't seem to take unless it is started with the -iconic parameter. For
example, if I start it up using
netscape4 -geometry 1084x796+0+0 &
it appears at +20+41 (or something equally odd - don't know why). If I
start it using
netscape4 -iconic -geometry 1084x796+0+0 &
it starts up iconic, and when I de-iconify it appears at +0+0 as it
should. I have been reliably informed by one of the system admin people
that this is a bug with netscape4.05. Guess I'll just have to maximize it
manually, then :(
