translucent Wharf in 1.7.42

I updated AS from 1.7.37 to 1.7.42 (patch 05)

My translucent Wharf is not working anymore. 
It does not display some swallow applications and some Folders and it
reports 

 Wharf: X Error
       Request 12, Error 2 0
       Type: 0

repeated many times.

It works if I go back to BackPixmap 128 Nothing.xpm.
