Perhaps you could elaborate on this?  I'm not sure what you're asking for.

Standard XPM size in Wharf is 48x48, with a tile size of 64x64.  The
latest versions play with this considerably: you should check the man
pages for details.

The icons (both size and what gets used) are no longer hard-coded (not
since quite a while ago).
