The quick method to solve the problem is to comment out the
"*WharfAnimate" and "*WharfAnimateMain" in the wharf.file. The wharf
animation is set in include/configure.h for <= 1.4.5.55N6 and during
./configure for 1.5pre+. So the correct method is to rebuild the binaries
(yes, I think it's only the animate) after editing the above file to
either a "5" for quick or a "3" for very quick - I would say a "1" =
commenting the Animate lines out of the wharf.file.
