In the feel.file you are using, uncomment the line that reads:
# Give a name to each icon
# IconTitle <-- this line

To change the menu you'd add a file to the ~G/L/A/start tree such
as 'The Gimp' and in this file add the lines to call the app, i.e. 'gimp'.
Once you restart AfterStep it'll reread this tree and add it to the
startmenu. You can also add a drown down list to this menu by making a
directory under start; i.e. # mkdir Graphics ; echo "gimp" > "the Gimp".
If you want the same startmenu for all users, simply make all the
modifications in the /u/s/a/s tree. But realize that when a user makes
changes to their ~/G/L/A/s tree, it will override the /u/s/a/s menu -
unless I missed something in the readme about the "systemwidemenu" which
exists in /u/s/a/n/t/.
