Try doing "find /usr/X11R6 -name libXpm*". I to got a "no package provides",
but had libXpm.so.4 in /usr/X11R6/lib. I then did "rpm -q --whatprovides
Libxpm.so.4" and got xpm-3.4j-1.
Looks like .6 is just the newer version, and isn't needed by AS. (though the
version of some other package he has installed depends on this .6 version)
