Placing windows

I'm using AfterStep 1.4.4 I think, well...

I'm using Netcape, and every time I open a new window (very frequently),
it has the apropiate size (800x600) but it's placed not on the the top
of the screen... horizontally it's ok, but vertically it displays a 10
pixels down... it also occurs with Star Office and others...

It will help in my work as "window manager :)" if they show "adjusted"
to the screen.
