In the latest version, you have to hit quit/update look and feel in order
for your changes to take effect. So, make your changes in the feel you
want to change (I think it's generally a good idea to copy the one you
want to adjust, and edit the copy, saving it under a new name; but you
should, of course, do as you like). Next, update; then select the feel
that you updated.

You want to change the location of the Icon Box. This can be edited in
a look file. You specify the icon box with the usual X screen geometry.

I suspect that this results from a key binding. In your feel file, near
the end, there is a section on bindings. It's a little tricky to follow,
but read the comments carefully (and, if you like, read the FAQ section on
changing the number of titlebar buttons: the principles are the same), and
you should be fine.

Yes. You have Animate on. You can either shut Animate off (which does
not look as nice), or you can adjust the setting in configure.h, and
re-compile. There are three lines in configure.h which control animation.
Set these to a lower number, and you should get faster animation.
