The look file controls what the buttons look like, but the feel file
controls what they do (and whether or not they even exist). If you want
to add or remove buttons on the titlebar, you'll need to edit both look
and feel.

Don't just comment out the buttons - you also need to renumber them:

#TitleButton 1 as-switchwindow-a.xpm as-switchwindow-a-pressed.xpm
TitleButton 2 as-kill.xpm as-kill-pressed.xpm
TitleButton 1 as-menu-a.xpm as-menu-a-pressed.xpm
#TitleButton 4 as-shade-a.xpm as-shade-a-pressed.xpm
TitleButton 4 as-iconize.xpm as-iconize-pressed.xpm

To get rid of buttons 1 & 4 as you have above, also edit the feel file:

# second column is the title button number

#Mouse 1 1 A ChangeWindowUp
#Mouse 2 1 A GetHelp
#Mouse 3 1 A ChangeWindowDown
Mouse 1 2 A Delete
Mouse 2 2 A Destroy
Mouse 3 2 A Destroy
Mouse 1 1 A PopUp "Window"
Mouse 2 1 A WindowList 2
Mouse 3 1 A WindowList 2
#Mouse 1 4 A Shade
#Mouse 2 4 A Stick
#Mouse 3 4 A Stick
Mouse 1 4 A Iconify
Mouse 2 4 A Maximize
Mouse 3 4 A Maximize

HTH!
