So how do you explain the xterm manual being almost four times bigger
than rxvt's ?
Xterm does have far more features than Rxvt and the manual itself says it:
DESCRIPTION
rxvt -- version 2.4.5 -- is a color vt102 terminal emula-
tor intended as an xterm(1) replacement for users who do
not require features such as Tektronik 4014 emulation and
toolkit-style configurability.
Now for every feature rwvt has and xterm hasn't, I may tell you ten that
xterm has and rxvt hasn't.

Well, I think of this ability as a mere toy. If you think of it as a
crucial option, then you'd better go for a Playstation. I prefer to keep
my terms compatable with other systems, rather than having a nude babe
behind a message telling me 'unknown terminal'.
