This is no big deal, but a somewhat curious thing that I've now run into
twice. If anyone has a comment or information (or can confirm/deny that
this happens), I'd love to know.
I'm now running 1.4.5.55N; before this I'd patched 1.4.5.0 to 1.4.5.3.
My Wharf is in the default location, with the following buttons (in
descending order, with arrows pointing to button effect, if any)
AfterStep logo --> Afterdoc
asclock
asload --> xiterm (top)
asmail --> xiterm (pine)
ascd
folder
--> Gimp
--> Netscape
--> TkDesk
Recycle --> xlock -nolock
X logo --> Quit form
Ok, now once last week (under 1.4.5.3) and again now (several times, under
1.4.5.55N), I pressed the Recycle button. Then, I click the left mouse
button again. The recycle XPM moves onto the tile for ascd, and the tile
where the recycle XPM appeared is blank. If I press the tile/button
again, the XPM moves back to the tile (and nothing else happens); but the
button's functionality returns after the XPM has moved back to the correct
tile.
This does not _always_ happen if the mouse is moved before ending xlock;
it seems always to happen if the mouse is _not_ moved before ending xlock.
It does not ever seem to happen if xlock is ended by a keystroke instead
of a mouse-click.
So, anyone else observe this?
A.
