Well, I'll just use this opportunity to mention this again...
If you want a lot of X-based utilities that look great under AfterStep,
you might want to check out the KDE (the K Desktop Environment). Now,
while I don't use the KDE window manager, alot of the apps compiled to run
under kde look very NeXT-ish and work fine under AfterStep, even the kde
File Manager, which essentially allows you to drag and drop files to and
from the desktop and from folder to folder a la Windows95 or MacOS, works
fine under AfterStep. In answer to your question, kde also has a user
manager binary that works fine under AfterStep AFAIK (I know it looks
nice.)
