Zombie processes do not consume any CPU.  They are simply waiting on their
parent processes to wait() on them and get their return values.  Try
sending a SIGCHLD to the parent of said process.  You can use ps -auxf to
discover the PID of the parent process.

If you have zombies eating up CPU, I think you have serious problems,
because a zombie process has already exit()ed.
