pager: DeskTopSize

I am trying to change the desktop size to be 4x4 and also show a smaller
scale of the desktop.

In "pager" config file, I put in these lines:  
DeskTopSize  4x4
DeskTopScale 55

But unfortunately, they are not changing the size and scale of the
desktop.  AS 1.4.0 worked with this method. Has this been phased out
in 1.4.5? (I hope not..)
