Hi,
This solves the problem of having to rename the directory everytime
applying a patch, but it doesn't solve the problem with
AfterStep1453_1454.patch which fails to find several file even when 
they are there.. 

(e.g.

Trek AfterStep/afterstep/start/Decorations/Animations/Star Trek
