EPlus is pretty damn customizable. You can easily disable all the things
you don't want if it takes more screen real estate than you're willing to
give up. I run E in 1600x1200 though, so I don't have those problems (=
The more I see Scott Stone post here and on BUGTRAQ, the more I am tempted
to give it a whirl. It definately seems more on the cutting (bleeding?)
edge than the more popular distributions such as Red Hat and Slackware.
