Since I have to fix the FAQ now anyway, I can just add a note to the
effect that even numbers are stable, and odd numbers devel.  That, with
the separation on the ftp sites of /stable and /devel, ought to help.

I'm sorry about the lags in the docs.  I was sort of counting on the last
patch I made being the last one I had to do through the end of term (have
I mentioned that I hate the end of term?).  Ah, well, best-laid plans and
all.
