Hi, all!

I see the applets distribution produces quite a controversy
here. Well, I just want to keep it under control. I do not
have much time to work on the applets distribution but I
do what I can to improve it. It is very difficult for me to work
off-line with w.a.o and f.a.o - that's why i decided to
put it on my own site and keep it up-to-date there.

Since I announced my site a couple of days ago on the mailing
list I had only 13 people download the big tarball, so I guess
it is not really such a big deal :)

I understand Andrew's concern with separating the AS and applets
distributions. It would, of course, be much better if the
whole thing was available on w.a.o (I believe the web site
helps people to choose what applets they want, that's why I
insist on having a web site).

Now I believe there are the following choices:

get me out of this business and let Dave take care of
	the whole thing

let me create the distribution at my site and
	mirror it to f.a.o

let the things be as they are - Dave maintaining
the f.a.o and putting the updates i upload to f.a.o
into place and me keeping track of two sites
	at once

I hope someone comes up with a really good idea on what
we do with the applets distro now.

Cheers,
Tigr
