Thank you! I just compiled 2.2.2 & Yes it does fix my problem, but broke something else - I have my Wharf buttons configured as shaped & transparent, using (empty.xpm is a 68x68 transparent pixmap):
I also had to comment out "*WharfNoBorder".

In 2.1, you could slide a window under the Wharf & the buttons were transparent over the window (truly transparent), but now, the button backgrounds remain that of the desktop rather that what is between them and the desktop.

Hi Jim,
I think that this issue is solved in 2.2.2 which was was released on May 24
2006.
I think that there is a setting in the database file were you can specify
use current viewport but I don't remember the exact syntax. Anyway, this
behaviour is fixed in the new version.
