[As-users] colors mangled by afterstep

Hello.

I installed Afterstep 2.2.0 on my Slackware 10.0 box.
When I ran it, I noticed that it changed the look of
all gtk applications--such as firefox.

Later, I decided to run another window manager
(blackbox),
and all of the gtk apps had still changed.

I get this message when I start firefox under the
blackbox
window manager:

(firefox-bin:1758): Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate
theme engine in module_path: "clearlooks",

Afterstep has now been uninstalled, but how do I get
the the
colors on my system back to normal?
