Hi !
With afterstep 1.x, my background image was managed by an external program,
which was launched with gdm, and once a day, another background image was
randomly displayed. It worked fine with my transparent theme and with
tinted aterms.
Now that I've switched to debian sarge, I have afterstep v2.00.04 and I do not
know how to have a similar set-up where background images can change at any
time, and having afterstep updating everything.
If I try to use 'DontDrawBackground' most of the time window decorations
and Wharf stay black, because when I login via gdm, afterstep resets the
background to black.
Or maybe there's another way to do it: overwrite ~/.afterstep/non-configurable/
0_background, and tell afterstep to refresh everything using a magic command ?
TIA,
