Just wanted to let you all know that AfterStep v. 2.00.02 is now
available for download. To complement it I also released aterm 1.0.beta2.
These two should play nicely together.
AfterStep has tons of fixes based on your'alls complaints and more.
aterm mostly fixes AfterStep detection issues and incorporates
bunch-o-patches from gentoo adding configurability of internal border
size ( -ib ). Note though that under AfterStep borderless option of
aterm (-bl) may not work since AfterStep has Style for aterm in database
explicitely requesting Border around it. AfterStep's database takes
precedence over anything an app may request.
Have fun, and as usuall - I'm always happy to see you log files even for
most wicked and fleeting problems - run AfterStep as ;
afterstep -l ~/afterstep.log
and then bzip the log and send it to me.
You may want to recompile AfterStep with --enable-gdb to add extensive
trace info to the log.
Thank you all
Sasha Vasko
