Fixed it!

Howdy,
I finally fixed my xterm to be what I wanted. Every
time I hit xterm in the wharf, I got the wrong colors,
but when I typed xterm in an xterm window, I got what
the .Xdefaults said. So I found the file
/usr/local/share/afterstep/wharf and modified the
xterm line so it did not execute with forground and
background colors from the command line. I'm happy
now!
The other thing I noticed is that the work/www/mail/..
screen markers go away when I use the control-arrow
keys to move between screens when calling up a new
window or program. So as long as I call things up
and don't change screens in the middle of waiting
for them, it seems to stay there. I'm on a really
slow machine, so it's pretty easy to decide to move
around after I start something. I should be able to
live with this bug now that I know what not to do.
