Default directory for AfterStep data files

Hi all
There is a very important question that requires me to solicit input
from you - the USERS :)
For a long time AfterSTep has been using ~/GNUstep/Library/AfterStep to
store its datafiles.
It was modified to do so in order to comply to GNUStep's directory
structure. Considering that AfterStep was never accepted by GNUStep
project, and also considering that it really is irrelevant as GNUStep
development seems to become more and more of a niche for hardcore NeXT
SDK diehards, it really makes not much sense to continue with that
tradition. I mean the only other wide-spread app that uses it Window
Maker, and I personally do not have much concern for that one.
Quite honestly I personally feel that it is quite tiresome to have to cd
down such a long and unpopulated path to get to data files. I'm sure
many of you share such a sentiment.
Therefore it is proposed to change default directory for AfterStep's
data files to more traditional ~/.afterstep.
Obviously it will be possible to keep GNUstep ppl happy by leaving GLA
as a ./configure time option.
So please let me hear your objections, and if I don't get any
meaningfull - I shall proceed with the change and next beta will come
out with it.
Hugs and kisses
Sasha Vasko
the developer.
