Hello, folks!
I made some Debian packages for those of you running Debian
systems. You can try them if you load them from
http://www.tigr.net/afterstep/debian/
This is my first experience with the .debs so do not curse
me too loud if something does not work but let me know.
I could not make all of the packages into .debs, the applets
will have to be configured for that. I did not want to
spend a few days on that so if you want to help - grab one
of those and configure them.
If anyone knows how to configure the directory structure
and Packages.gz and so forth for use with apt-get, give me
some hints. Otherwise it may be a while before apt-get
is supported on tigr.net.
If someone wants to make RedHat packages (or other systems),
let me know. I will be happy to load them up.
Ok, the usual disclaimers applied, let me know how it works.

An optimist thinks that this is the best possible world.
A pessimist fears that this is true.
