Trouble with themeas!

I have afterstep 1.8.11 installed on my SuSe8.0! There seems to be a tiny 
little trouble with themes! When i put them to 
/usr/local/share/afterstep/themes and/or 
$HOME/GNUstep/Library/AfterStep/themes, they appear in Menu, but when i click 
on them nothing happens! I hav tried blueroach theme and some others! Also i 
would like to use blueroach theme!
