It is patched, only unreleased :)
I'd like to give it some time to see if there are any problems with it.

for now you can get it from CVS :

su root
cd /usr/src
cvs -d :pserver:anonymous@cvs.afterstep.org:/home/cvsroot login
cvs -d :pserver:anonymous@cvs.afterstep.org:/home/cvsroot co
afterstep-stable
cd afterstep-stable
./configure ; make ; make install
