I assume that you are using 1.8.8 ?

if not then upgrade, but otherwise I really am puzzled by this bug. I know 
for the fact that up untill I rewrote
it in 1.9 - devel series menu drawing has been rather lousy, and actually 
I'm not sure why it worked at all 
( allanon may throw rocks at me for saying that :). But nevertheless I have 
never seen such artifacts.

Anyways the soilution will be to try and use different color combinations 
for now.

        OK, so I'm attempting to create a theme.  In doing the menus,
        I've come across an anomaly that I can't figure out how to
        correct.  When using a pixmap for menu highlighting, I get an
        odd line, but only on some menu items and it "rolls" downward.
        To see sort of what I'm talking about, see:

        In that picture, if I were to move the mouse down to "Theme",
        the blue line would be slightly up from where it is; and on the
        next, slightly more up; and so on.

        For the menu item styles, I'm doing:

                MyStyle "menu_item_style"
                  Inherit       menu_font
                  ForeColor     white
                  BackColor     gray30
                  BackMultiGradient 6 #008CBE 0.0 #00222E 0.4 #000A0A 1.0
                  MaxColors     128
                ~MyStyle

                  ForeColor     white
                  BackColor     gray30
                  BackPixmap    128 menu-highlight.png
                ~MyStyle

                MenuItemStyle   "menu_item_style"

        Any idea what's going on and how to fix it?
