Warping, window focus

Hi all,
I am quite new to afterstep, and have 2 things
which I still cannot set up the way I want to:
Pointer Warping:
The mailing list archives show only recompiling
as a solution to pointer warping. Is this still the case?
Specifically, I want the pointer NEVER to move, unless I move
the mouse. This includes popping up windows from the background,
and de-iconifying. Should this be a FAQ?
Raising window to foreground:
I would like each window to come to the foreground, when I
click in the boundary. This is useful if focus follows the
pointer, but raising is not desired. Sometimes I find the
title bar of a window hidden, and can only raise it by sending
the window on top to the background.
I would appreciate your help.
Gerard
