suggestion for dependancy checking

I switched a project away from make to 'cons' at work. It handles all
the dependency checking via includes. It is really nice. It also
supports multiple directories pretty easily. 'cons' is actually a
perl script, so it could be distributed as part of the afterstep
tarball. Here's the link:

It makes for really simple build scripts. Just a suggestion...
