look in ftp.afterstep.org/devel/patches/
download every patch there and then run:
zcat 1.7.142-* | patch -p1

or if you download them seperatly:
zcat 1.7.142-xx | patch -p1

where xx is the number. eg 10. If you do it this way make sure you do them all in
order.
