gnome/as bombing

okay, I'm running afterstep 1.7.148 and using the gnome
stuff, version 1.0.9, I think.   I just re-installed afterstep, 
so, I'm pretty much using the standard config files... now, when 
I try to use the window list that I get when I right-click on the desktop
and select a window, everything core dumps...  I'm not loading any
afterstep modules except the Gnome module, and using everything
gnome, as far as the pager, and the tasklist.. etc etc.

is this a known problem?
