winlist and start dir questions

Hello,

Start Menu:
I just upgraded from 1.6.10 to 1.7.90.  The start menu used to grey out
items that didn't point to anything.  It no longer does this?  Or is
there a new option?

Winlist:
Is there anyway to have the winlist items only be the items that are on
your current desktop/workspace?  Sort of like the stick icons options
for icons?  So items don't follow you from workspace to workspace?
