Move from 1024x768 to 1280x1024

My current setup with AS 1.7.111 is for a screen resolution of 1024x768.
I need some tips for adjusting AS when I go to 1280x1024. For example,
at the higher resolution the wharf is located off the screen. If someone
has done this recently and can relay what I need to consider in doing
this - I would greatly appreciate the heads up.
