Use AfterStep 1.7.x, and change the IconBox in your look file to something 
like:

IconBox 2 0 -1 -1

With AfterStep 1.6.x, you'll probably want to set up multiple IconBoxes, 
as they are always filled from left to right:

# max of four IconBoxes, but two is probably enough
IconBox -65 0 -1 -1
IconBox -131 0 -67 -1
