I don't recall precisely the syntax, but the .xinitrc should look
*something* like the following:
#---8<-----
/usr/local/bin/afterstep -d :0.1 &
/usr/local/bin/afterstep -d :0.0
#---8<-----
This IS covered in the man page for afterstep BTW, and with a little
experimentation by those lucky enough to have multiple screens would
provide the needed info to include this in the FAQ (if it's not already).
