Afterstep newbie

Just jumped of the kde bandwagon a week ago and I'm having a ball with 
afterstep. Here's my first question for the group. 

When using the scroll bar on a window that has been maximized to fit the 
screen my pointer often goes over the edge of the screen taking me to 
another panel.  Is there a way to disable this and just use the pager to 
switch between panels.
