There is a big problem with having so many desks though.  Ever tried
restarting afterstep?  I'll throw EVERYTHING onto the first desk.  

Also...I don't know about you-all, but I don't have the excess memory to
be loading almost every program I use on a regluar basis at startup.  One,
it takes forever, and two...my system performance is dramatically dropped.
