Howdy,
so sorry about all the trouble of compiling ascp.
There has actually been a (closed-house) binary created by one of the developers
I'll forward this info to the mailing list and see if anyone else has a static
binary to distribute. I personally don't have the space for static libraries
(my 4.0 Gigger died on my recently....)
But, a 1.0 release is planned for reeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal soon.
