While ctrl-alt-backspace will get you out of X, this is the
equivalent of ctrl-alt-delete for winblows. Many program swill leave core
dumps as this is *not* the correct way to exit X, but a 'pull out the
plug' method.
Correct usage is via the menu items of the various window
managers; for AfterStep it is menu->Quit->Exit ? .

Section 4 of the FAQ covers adding items to the startmenu. Check
out the other 'Restart with <windowmanagername> files in the start/ tree
for examples, and look at the man page for afterstep.
