I am having problems compiling 1.7.75 for solaris. I am getting an
undefined symbol "snprintf" in module gnome.o. I am assuming that this is
part of the gnome support and looked to see if i could disable gnome
support. IU was unable to figure out how. 

Could someone either tell me which library I am missing or how to disable
gnome.
